1. Scope and who we are

This Privacy Policy explains how Cultivra ("Cultivra," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, retains, and protects information when you use the Cultivra mobile application, web dashboard, WhatsApp services, websites, support channels, and connected farm-management features.

Cultivra provides agricultural decision support, crop-health screening, farm records, weather and market context, tasks, operational messaging, farm-finance records, subscriptions, reports, and AI-assisted guidance. This policy applies to personal information connected to those services.

Plain-language commitment. We collect information to operate Cultivra, personalize farm guidance, protect accounts, and deliver user-requested services. We do not treat farm information as an advertising product.

2. Information we collect

The information we handle depends on the Cultivra features you use and the information you choose to record.

Account

Identity and access

Your Cultivra account identifier, authentication status, subscription tier, login or security records, names, farm or business name, language preference, and account settings. Depending on the sign-in method you choose, this may include your WhatsApp phone number or an Apple-provided email or private relay address.

Farm

Fields and operations

Farm profile, town or region, fields, crops, varieties, land area, planting dates, crop stages, production history, inputs, spray records, equipment, workers, tasks, planned orders, incidents, and completion updates.

Finance

User-entered farm records

Income, expenses, costs, wallet balances, budgets, and planning assumptions that you enter. Cultivra does not collect or store your full payment-card number.

Location

Local context and field pins

Approximate location comes from your saved town or region. Precise device location is used only when you choose to share a field pin or use a location-dependent feature.

Content

Photos and conversations

Crop, leaf, plant, field, or profile photos; assistant conversations; WhatsApp messages; worker and manager messages; feedback; support requests; and reports or export requests.

Technical

Subscription and reliability

Store purchase and entitlement status, product and transaction identifiers, device or push identifiers, app version, operating system, feature interactions, crash logs, diagnostics, delivery status, and security events.

Where this information comes from

Information may come directly from you, from an authorized farm manager or worker, from your device when you grant permission, from the app stores and RevenueCat, or from service providers that deliver authentication, messages, weather, market, location, subscription, and reliability information.

3. How we use information

We use information only for defined product, security, support, and legal purposes.

01
Operate the service

Authenticate users, provide the correct account experience, and display dashboards, records, tasks, finance entries, reports, weather, market context, crop-health results, and priorities.

02
Deliver relevant intelligence

Generate agricultural guidance from the crop evidence, farm context, field records, and questions you choose to provide.

03
Communicate and coordinate

Deliver requested WhatsApp, SMS, in-app, and push communications, including worker assignments and operational alerts.

04
Protect access and reliability

Verify subscriptions, restore purchases, prevent fraud, provide support, investigate incidents, monitor errors, and secure the service.

05
Meet legal responsibilities

Comply with law, enforce our terms, respond to valid legal requests, and protect users, Cultivra, and others.

No advertising sale. Cultivra does not sell personal information and does not use your farm records, crop photos, precise location, or assistant messages to deliver third-party advertising.

5. AI-assisted processing

When you request assistant guidance or crop-health screening, Cultivra may send the relevant prompt, crop photo, farm context, field context, and recent records to contracted AI service providers so the requested response can be generated. We limit the submitted context to what is reasonably needed for the feature.

Cultivra may store the request and generated response with your farm records so you can revisit the guidance, compare later observations, create tasks, and review operational history. Authorized members of the same farm workspace may see records connected to shared fields, tasks, or worker communications.

Human judgment remains essential. Cultivra does not use AI output by itself to make employment, credit, insurance, or other legally significant decisions about a person.

AI and crop-health outputs are decision-support information, not laboratory confirmation or a guarantee of outcome. Important crop-protection, financial, legal, or safety decisions should be checked against field conditions, product labels, local regulations, and qualified local professionals.

6. Service providers and disclosure

We disclose information only as needed to provide, secure, or support Cultivra, complete a user-directed action, or comply with law. Recipients may include:

Infrastructure

Hosting, database and security

Cloud hosting, file storage, database, backup, monitoring, and security providers keep Cultivra available and protected.

Messaging

Twilio and WhatsApp/Meta

These providers support authentication, operational messaging, delivery status, and user-requested WhatsApp communication.

Intelligence

OpenAI and data providers

Contracted AI, weather, geocoding, market, and agricultural-data providers support the feature you request.

Notifications

OneSignal

OneSignal supports device registration and delivery of enabled push notifications and operational alerts.

Subscriptions & sign-in

RevenueCat, Google Play and Apple

These services process purchases, restore access, and report product, renewal, expiration, and entitlement status. Apple also provides the optional Sign in with Apple service offered in the iOS app, including the option to keep an email address private.

Reliability

Sentry and support tools

Crash, diagnostic, and request information helps identify failures, protect the platform, and improve reliability.

These providers receive only the information reasonably needed for their role and are expected to process it under applicable contractual and legal safeguards. Worker or manager information may also be visible to authorized members of the same farm workspace as part of task assignment and operational communication.

We may also disclose information to professional advisers, regulators, courts, law enforcement, or a successor organization when legally required or in connection with a legitimate corporate transaction. We evaluate legal requests and disclose only what is reasonably necessary.

7. Retention

We retain account and farm information while your account is active and for as long as needed to provide requested features. Retention varies by record type and operational need. Crop photos, assistant history, task records, finance entries, subscription records, delivery logs, exports, and diagnostics may have different retention periods.

  • Farm, crop, finance, task, and assistant records are generally retained while the account remains active so historical comparisons and reports continue to work.
  • Subscription and transaction references may be retained for billing reconciliation, fraud prevention, accounting, and dispute handling.
  • Crash, diagnostic, security, and message-delivery logs may be retained for a shorter operational period unless an incident requires longer preservation.

After deletion, limited information may remain temporarily in protected backups or be retained where reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, billing disputes, legal claims, or compliance. Backups are removed on their normal expiration cycle and are not used to restore a deleted account except where legally required.

8. Account deletion

You may request deletion from inside Cultivra by opening Profile, exporting any records you want to retain, and selecting Delete account.

If you no longer have access to the app, email support@lonis.ai with the subject Delete Cultivra account and include the WhatsApp phone number or Apple private relay email used for the account. We may ask you to verify account ownership before completing the request.

Account deletion removes the profile and associated farm records, assistant history, task data, finance records, uploaded profile photos, crop-health records, and applicable session identifiers, subject to the limited retention described above. For accounts created with Sign in with Apple, Cultivra also requests revocation of the associated Apple authorization.

Subscription notice. Deleting a Cultivra account does not automatically cancel an app-store subscription. Cancel the subscription separately through Google Play or Apple subscription settings to prevent a future renewal.

9. Your choices and rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, object to, restrict, or delete personal information. Cultivra provides profile editing, account export, notification controls, permission controls, and account deletion features. You can also:

  • decline camera, photo-library, location, or notification permission through your device settings;
  • avoid providing optional farm, finance, photo, or precise-location information;
  • reply with the applicable opt-out command for supported WhatsApp communications; and
  • contact us to request privacy assistance or exercise an applicable legal right.

Disabling optional information may limit features that depend on it, such as local weather, field-pin context, push alerts, profile photography, or crop-health screening.

10. Security and international processing

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including encrypted network transport, authentication, access controls, service monitoring, and restricted credentials. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

Cultivra and its providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Where required, we use appropriate contractual or legal measures for international processing.

11. Children

Cultivra is a commercial farm-management service intended for adults and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly create accounts for children. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as Cultivra, applicable law, or our providers change. We will post the updated version at this URL and revise the “Last updated” date. Material changes may also be communicated through the app, WhatsApp, email, or another appropriate service channel.

13. Contact

Contact the team that matches your request. Include the WhatsApp phone number or Apple private relay email associated with the account when verification is required.
